Description

You'll find several sizing options available for this style. Choose dimensions that are just a little larger than what you're laminating if you want to have a clear border around the edges.

Each pack contains 100 pouches.

These are excellent protection for pocket-sized cards that you want to be able to quickly reference, without fear of water damage or fading ink.

Open our laminate guide to view details on which thickness (mil) is best for your project.

Sticky back laminating pouches are available for some size variations.

What can I laminate with card size pouches?

You might protect recipe cards from kitchen spills by laminating them. Small cocktail menu cards are another great option for this.

When creating business ID cards for your team, laminating them is the best way to ensure their durability. This similarly applies to military ID cards, though some cards may have restrictions on how you can laminate them, depending on the type of security seals used.

Another common use is creating laminated prayer cards. You can keep a few special words close by in your wallet, and the paper will stay easily readable.

Schools frequently use card size laminating pouches to create IDs for marching bands, library cards, or school ID cards.

What's the difference between laminating pouches and sheets?

Laminating pouches are pre-cut pieces of lamination material that have been sealed together on one edge. You can open the pouch and easily position your card or paper printout inside between the sheets, without fear of the edges being misaligned.

Laminating sheets are individual pieces of laminate material. Some people prefer to have complete control over how the sizing is cut, or prefer to only laminate one side of their document.

When do I use a gloss finish vs. matte?

If you're looking for a surface that's easily wiped off like a dry erase board, we recommend you use a gloss finish. Dry erase markers will wipe clean for use with handwriting practice sheets, camping-friendly bingo boards, etc.

Colors are also more vibrant when using a gloss finish, so if you're making stickers, this is likely the one you'll want to use.

The matte finish is useful when you need to reduce glare from overhead lights or the sun. These matte laminating pouches are also useful when you need to give people a better grip when holding the protected documents.

The porous nature of the matte finish also makes it easily written on with ballpoint pen. Keep in mind, that writing is not removable.

Can I laminate without a machine?

The laminating pouches we offer do require you use heat to bond the laminate to the paper or cardstock you're covering.

This means you should not use them to laminate delicate items like photos. The heat will damage the printed photo.

Does it matter what kind of laminating machine I have?

Some laminating pouches and sheets are only compatible with laminating machines made by the same brand.

You're in luck today! Our laminating pouches will work with all thermal pouch laminators.

This includes models from GBC, Fellowes, Royal Sovereign, Scotch, Banner, Sircle and Tamerica.

Some people have had success using their Cricut Heat Press for lamination, but we recommend you use caution if you have one you want to test with a laminating pouch.

Do you have a self-laminating version?

You might have hear about "cold" laminating pouches. Those are a self-adhesive version that does not require heat to bond to what you're covering in laminate. Unfortunately, this is not an item we carry.
